Heritage Malta through the National Museum of Natural History has launched a wildlife photography competition with the aim of promoting the islands’ biodiversity.
This initiative is being organised in response to the increasing number of wildlife photographic enthusiasts. The competition is open to all Maltese and non-Maltese individuals and is subdivided in different categories.
Participants may submit up to five images in each category and must portray plants and animals found in the wild state in the Maltese islands. Both colour and monochrome photos can be submitted.
All photographs will be judged by a panel of professional or well- renowned wildlife photographers. The closing date for submission of photographs is April 30.
Entrants to the competition must be aged 14 or over on the closing date.
