I have just read another article that just proves people who do not live in the UK have not a clue about how bad the state of Britain is.

I am old enough (62) to remember the days before the EU. I was in the submarine service and voted against entry in 1973. In the old days, when I lived in the Peak District, the rolling green hills were full of sheep and dairy cattle but no more after the French butter and milk mountains of the 1970s. All these farms have gone out of business and converted to holiday cottages.

The EU decimated the once massive fishing industry. Go to Grimsby, Hull, Aberdeen, Stornoway and there is no fishing boat to be seen. And don’t get me started on the straight cucumbers and bananas.

The thing that persuaded my wife and myself to emigrate to Malta seven years ago was the rampant immigration. Derby, which was the capital city of my county, has a mosque on nearly every street corner. Houses are turned into places of worship. There are no go areas for white Britons in most cities.

The national flag and Poppy Day offend Muslims. They spit on our servicemen and women, yet, Tony Blair offered them open doors. Recently, the EU told Britain it has to build 23,000 homes for Syrian refugees. Why should this be when there are homeless war veterans on the streets?

(This letter was written before the EU referendum in the UK.)
