British IndyCar driver Dan Wheldon, killed in a crash last October, was remembered with his image printed on all tickets for the 96th Indianapolis 500.

Wheldon was a two-time winner of the famed US oval classic, taking his first triumph in 2005 and his second last year. But the 33-year-old Englishman was killed last October 16 in Las Vegas in a 15-car crash that catapulted his car into the air and into a fence.

A picture of Wheldon pouring the traditional winner’s drink of milk from a bottle over his head last year in Victory Lane was used on the ticket for the May 27 race.
