Soċjetà Sant’Andrija is organising its annual live crib in its club’s courtyard at 39, St Andrew Street, Lija. The live crib will be open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and the following weekend, on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Sunday, December 27 between 5.30 and 8.30pm.

The crib will feature children and adults in costume representing traditional Biblical scenes in Bethlehem.

A donation of €1 per adult is welcomed.

Virtuoso at Studio 104

Studio 104, Fine Art Space of St Lucy Street, Valletta is presenting Viruoso, an exhibition of small scale fine art by five highly-acclaimed artists – Austin Camilleri, Raphael Vella, Ruth Bianco, Victor Agius and Vince Briffa.

Opening hours: Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 1pm; today, Friday and Saturday 10am-1pm and 4-7pm. Closed on Sunday and Monday.

The exhibition runs until Tuesday, December 22.

Joseph Casapinta’s watercolour exhibition entitled The Passion Continues... will be launched at the Cavalieri Hotel, St Julian’s tomorrow and open until January 13.

Christmas event at Kirkop

The Kirkop Pageant Group is organising an exhibition of cribs and figurines of Baby Jesus at St Margaret Alacoque Convent (ex convent of the nuns of the Sacred Heart) in Parish Square, Kirkop. The exhibition will also include a live crib.

It will be open on Saturday from 4.30 to 8pm and Sunday from 9am to 12pm and 4.30 to 8pm.

The Mellieħa Primary School is having a Christmas wonderland weekend from Friday to Sunday. It promises to be a weekend full of fun, with various stalls, entertainment for children, zip line activity and abseiling on Saturday and Sunday.
