The Westin Dragonara was named the Mediterranean’s leading resort last night at the World Travel Awards European ceremony in Antalya, Turkey.

Known as the ‘Oscars of the travel industry’, the World Travel Awards are recognised worldwide as a hallmark of quality.

The voting process, in which a large number of industry professionals participated, is independently audited.

Michael Camilleri Kamsky, general manager of the Westin Dragonara Resort, received the award and thanked all associates, guests and customers for their loyalty through the years.

“The Westin Dragonara Resort strives to exceed guests’ expectations consistently while ensuring that they leave the hotel feeling better than when they arrived. This award is testimony to the standard of this hotel and resort,” Mr Camilleri Kamsky said.
