A musical show featuring Christopher Hamilton, a singer, pianist and multi- award-winning composer together with West End stars will be held at St James Cavalier, Valletta on Wednesday at 7.30 p.m.
Hamilton regularly performs in cabaret in London and all over the world from Bangkok to Tel Aviv.
He has also entertained at the House of Commons in London.
He has won praise from all the major newspapers in England, the Telegraph describing him as an “ace pianist”.
Hamilton made his New York debut in 2007 at Don’t Tell Mama, where critics described him as “the real deal” and “a total showman”.
Hamilton has recently written a new musical with Susannah Pearse, Melody Towers inspired by Enid Blyton’s Malory Towers, which will be produced in London later this year.
Two of his original songs have been performed at the finals of the Sondheim Singer of the Year Competition in two consecutive years.
One of Hamilton’s songs has been performed in an exciting new project in London entitled A Song Cycle for Soho which will be staged at the end of this month at the Soho Theatre.
Several of Christopher’s songs are included on commercially available CDs including Dianne Pilkington’s, Shona White’s and Shimi Goodman’s which is entitled When You Hear My Voice.
Hamilton will be performing at St James Cavalier with West End stars Shimi Goodman (credits include West Side Story, Chicago, Dirty Dancing, Evita) and Madalena Alberto (Fantine in the 25th anniversary of Les Miserables).
