• Before a distance sale is concluded, consumers should be provided with information on the trader, goods or services about to be ordered, payment methods and information about the applicable legal rights.

• If the required information is not provided, the distance sale may become null and unenforceable.

• When buying from a distance seller, consumers can change their mind and exercise their cancellation rights.

• Once a service starts, or a good utilised, the cooling-off period no longer applies, even if it has not expired.
