Amputees4Amputees has launched a website with funds raised through L-Istrina.

The site, www.amputees4amputees.org.mt, provides information on the work of the association that was set up in 2008 and formally inaugurated in November 2009. The association offers support to amputees, provide education for members and advocates better services.

A4A said it was instrumental in giving a voice to service users and changing long-standing policies and work practices of medical services offered to amputees.
