Birdlife Malta is tomorrow organising its annual walk from the Roman Villa in Rabat to near the Simar Nature Reserve in Xemxija.

The walk’s theme this year is ‘wildlife homes’ and the group will be looking out for all the different habitats along the way. Wildlife experts will also be on hand.

At the end of the walk, children will be rewarded with gift bags. There will also be a prize-giving ceremony in which the highest donations will win awards.

The event is organised to help raise funds towards Birdlife Malta’s efforts to support educational resources that connect young people with nature.

The group is meeting at 8.30am sharp tomorrow near the Roman Villa in Mdina. To reserve a place, send an e-mail to dinjawahda@birdlifemalta.org to confirm your booking.
