So another edition of Voices is with us and I hope that by now all of us taking part are feeling that all the waiting has been worth it even if we are exhausted from all the rehearsals, especially these last four days. Tonight is the night when we have all this year’s beneficiaries in the audience and for those who are joining us for the first time I can tell you that it will really be an emotional night.

I know that probably most of us are so tired that we can hardly stand but we’d be surprised, once we are on that stage what a lot of energy we still have left. So whether the Voices team are old-timers like me or newbies, we should just let ourselves go and enjoy ourselves. Remember, it’s all for such a good cause.

Thank you to the band, backstage crew, front of house and everyone else involved in making this another great experience but especially a big thank you goes to our very hard working committee and our choir directors, Martina Caruana and Tony Vella as without them we wouldn’t have made it.
