Two teams from Vodafone Malta joined numerous other groups in Puttinu Cares’ annual fundraising football marathon at the Marsa Sports Grounds recently. They raised €3,000. The money is part of a total sum of funds collected through the Vodafone Employee Contribution for Charity Scheme, where employees make a monthly donation taken directly from their salary.

Puttinu Cares vice-chairman Angele Cuschieri thanked Vodafone and expressed gratitude for their contribution. The Puttinu Cares group is currently building twelve studio apartments to be able to offer free accommodation to patients undergoing therapy in the UK. The project will cost around €3 million.
