The editorial in the latest issue of The Gozo Observer, the quarterly journal of the University’s Gozo Campus, highlights the dearth of space at the public library in Vajrinġa Street, Victoria.

I would suggest that the first step to solve this problem would be to carry out an often-mentioned idea: the transfer of the primary school on its ground floor – which cannot really offer modern facilities.

The lending library, now adjacent to the Gozo Ministry on St Francis Square, could then be integrated with a view towards creating a whole complex (incorporating the archives too).
