The Art of Managing People was the theme of a corporate seminar organised by Vassallo Group of Companies for its senior management at The Diamond, part of the Landmark business centre in Qormi.

A number of presentations were held, covering topics such as senior management responsibilities in managing risks, with a special focus on health and safety at the workplace and the employment law and its implications.

Vassallo Group includes companies operating in construction, health care, IT, hospitality and catering.

Group chairman Nazzareno Vassallo praised the employees who were the force behind some of the country’s major projects entrusted by the group. He spoke about the group’s intention to further invest in its human resources, which he described as its best asset.

The seminar was organised by the group’s HR department. Patrick John Mifsud from Shield Consultants, Charlotte Camilleri from the Malta Employers Association and Joe Gerada contributed to the seminar.
