The Victoria International Arts Festival continues this evening, with the Status Piano Quintet from Finland, comprised of Jaso Sasaki, Sini Maaria Virtanen (violin), Barbora Hilpo (viola), Saara Iida-Vilhelmiina Laine (violoncello) and Marko Hilpo (pianoforte). They will perform the Quintets by Saint-Saëns and Schumann.

Piano duo Natascha Chircop and Marco Rivoltini will make a most welcome return to VIAF tomorrow, in a concert of works by Hindemith, Brahms Poulenc, Shawn and the wonderful Rhapsody in Blue by Gershwin.

On Monday, piano trio 2016Plus, prizewinners of Prima la musica, Upper Austria’s national competition for youths, made up of Viktoria Kurina (violin), Hrvoje Hresc (violoncello), and Anastasija Govorova (pianoforte), will perform works by Beethoven, Körber and Brahms.

All concerts will be held at the Aula Mgr G. Farrugia and start at 8pm.
