During the first four months of this year, the government netted €193,113,676 in VAT revenue, Finance Minister Tonio Fenech told Labour MP Noel Farrugia in reply to a parliamentary question.

Of that amount, €40,417,142 were refunded, for a net figure of €152,696,534.
