Legendary rock band Uriah Heep will be performing live at Ta’ Liesse, Grand Harbour, Valletta, on July 29. Along with Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Deep Purple, Uriah Heep is one of the top rock bands to define the sound of classic rock.

Songs like The Wizard, Easy Livin’, Sunrise, Sweet Freedom, Gypsy and Look at Yourself were international hits and to date, the band has sold over 40 million albums worldwide.

Making this gig particularly special is the fact that Uriah Heep’s keyboardist is Phil Lanzon, who is of Maltese descent.

Opening acts for the show are Maltese bands Crux and Nomad Son. Doors open at 7.30pm. Tickets are available from www.ticketline.com.mt at €20.

This concert is being organised by the festivals division of Arts Council Malta and is supported by the Malta Gaming Authority and Hard Rock Café.
