Our heritage and environment group, Flimkien għal Ambjent Aħjar, would like to thank Ian Ellis for his enthralling presentation of his great-grandfather’s life and works as well as photographic developments in his talk ‘Richard Ellis – the man and his legacy’ held on May 16.

We are very grateful to the sponsors Canon/Avantech, The Foto Grafer and the Phoenicia Hotel for making it possible for us to bring this unique archive of Malta’s history and heritage of the last 150 years to the attention of the general public.

Special thanks go to the hard-working FAA volunteers for their active participation in the preparation and running of the event.

We are also grateful to the 270-odd persons who attended, as well as to all those who continue to support our cause of promoting awareness and preservation of Malta’s unique heritage and environment.

Given that we’ve received such enthusiastic feedback after the talk, we are considering a follow-up. We therefore invite those interested in this topic and other heritagesubjects to contact us on bookings@faa.org.mt to be included in our mailing list informing them of such events.
