Sitting in the back of a bendy bus on the way to the Gozo ferry, suffering a bad fairground ride, I got to thinking that on the down stroke of the back of the bus, which carries the engine, the pressure on the road must be at least double. This cannot be good for the bus or the road.

I expect other people have had this thought. Also, why does the same company charge for a ticket on Gozo when one has a valid ticket for Malta? Another thought: It costs me €48 to buy my bus ticket for four weeks on this friendly island, which I do quite often, but it costs a resident €26 for 30 days. Is this fair (sorry), I ask?
