A man allegedly hit his 60-year-old uncle in the face during an argument that broke out in an Msida street, according to police.

The grievously injured victim from Ħamrun claimed his 38-year-old nephew, from Naxxar, assaulted him at 8pm on Monday as he was walking down Valley Road.

Police are investigating.
