Around a dozen members of the Cartoonists’ Club of Great Britain were recently at the Farsons brewery to spend a day sketching cartoons about Cisk.
Sporting their specially designed T-shirts, they came armed with pens, paintbrushes and sketchbooks, and after a tour of the brewery, they turned the Farsons visitors’ centre into a studio.
Cisk awarded a joint first prize to the best cartoonist of the day: Richard Skipworth, who drew a cartoon version of Leonardo Da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man holding four cans of Cisk, and Noel Ford’s cartoon Cisk Assessment.
This was the group’s third visit to Malta for their annual Mighty Malta Minicon, held between February 15 and 22.
The Cartoonists’ Club of Great Britain was set up over 50 years ago and today still provides a social base for around 200 cartoonists who share tips, hold competitions and travel together.

Skipworth also created an animation about Cisk which can be viewed at www.richskipworth.co.uk/cisk.html.
