Two men were arrested for drug trafficking over the weekend.

The first, a 24-year-old Malian who lives at the Marsa open centre, was seen selling cannabis by officers in Paceville on Saturday, the police said.

When arrested, the man was found to be in possession of an unspecified amount of cannabis packed into small bags for trafficking, the police said.

A man from Gżira was caught in possession of an unspecified amount of cocaine that also appeared to be destined for trafficking, the police said.

Both suspects are expected to be arraigned in the coming days.
