Hertha Berlin made it two wins from two at the start of the Bundesliga after claiming a 2-0 win at Ingolstadt, who are still waiting for their first victory of the season.

Vedad Ibisevic put the visitors in front, putting the finishing touches to a quick move after Mathew Leckie had given away possession.

Dario Lezcano squandered Ingolstadt’s best chance of the first half when he shot straight at Rune Jarstein 10 minutes before the break, while Lukas Hinterseer should have brought them level only minutes after coming on for the hosts.

Just like a fortnight ago against Freiburg, it was Julian Schieber who sealed Hertha’s win late on yesterday with a header from Genki Haraguchi’s cross four minutes from time.
