We have recently visited your beautiful island and I am delighted to say what a wonderful holiday this has been for my husband and I.
St John’s Co-Cathedral was most impressive with priceless paintings including the Caravaggio. We found the old, silent city of Mdina extremely interesting and so was the delightful Fontanella coffee shop.
The only setback during our two-week stay was the public transport.
Perhaps, I would rather mention the warm welcome we had at a small bar in St Julians. Unfortunately, we discovered the old London bar on the last two days of our stay.
We will be back in Malta soon but definitely in 2014 as we have been invited to the pub’s 100-year anniversary by the landlord himself.
Well done Malta.
