At the top of the Baħar-iċ-Ċagħaq road, the part where the road is quite narrow and which has seen many fatal accidents, one notices signs indicating a maximum speed of 70kph. On the Mrieħel bypass, a two-lane straight road, the maximum speed is 60kph. Now one may ask where is the logic behind this, unless, of course, Trans-port Malta workers mixed up the signs and fixed them in the wrong roads.
