A Żabbar resident is accusing the local council of violating regulations in the allocation of sites for kiosks during the village feast this weekend.

John Camilleri said in a judicial protest that he had applied to have a kiosk or to be given a site for the feast of Our Lady of Grace. However, he was told that the local council was not accepting new applications. He was offered a non-commercially viable site, Mr Camilleri complained, holding the local council responsible for damages.

Lawyers Franco Debono and Marion Camilleri appeared for Mr Camilleri.
