The Malta Union Club in Sliema will be hosting another tournament on Saturday – The Palace Open.

The competition is held in conjunction with Malta Squash. Ivan Balzan is the Tournament Director.

There will be three categories contested – ‘A’ mixed event for experienced players; ‘B’ mixed event for intermediate players; and ‘C’ mixed event for newcomers to the sport.

The Open will be the first tournament on the local scene following the national teams’ out-standing performances at the GSSE earlier this month.

Unfortunately, national team star player Bradley Hindle Deguara is currently abroad and unable to take part but most of the other gold medal winners in Liechtenstein are likely to re-gister.

One may obtain more details by phoning 7949-7624. The draws will be made tomorrow.
