Inter president Erick Thohir insists that Walter Mazzarri will continue coaching the Serie A side into the 2014-15 campaign.

Mazzarri’s future at the club appeared doubtful earlier this month after Inter had gone four straight league games without a victory.

However, Thohir has no intention to make a coaching change this summer.

He told www.fcinternews.it: “Inter are focusing on the last four league games.

“We need to maintain the balance we have found in order to get the best results.

“Hence, I don’t want to change what is already in place in terms of the team at the moment.

“Things are starting to fall into place but if you want to have a solid team it needs to be the result of a process.

“In the world of football, everything moves quickly and different coaches are better with different players.

“But that is not what I want. Mazzarri will be given all of next season in order to build the team.”

The 52-year-old Mazzarri joined Inter from Napoli last summer and is under contract with the Nerazzurri outfit until June 2015.

Inter have collected seven points of a possible nine in their last three league games and are fifth in the standings.

They hold the last Europa League qualifying spot with four games remaining for the end of the season.
