Tunisair Express will be adding a third weekly flight on its Tunis-Malta schedule.

The new flight will be operating on Fridays from April 4 and will depart from Malta International Airport at 4pm.

Tunisair Express already operates two weekly flights from Malta to Tunis on Wednesdays and Sundays.

“This new flight will not only better serve the existing demand but should encourage both business and leisure weekend trips between the two destinations, which are only 70 minutes’ flight-time apart,” Med Laamouz, general manager, Tunisair Express in Malta.

The Tunisian capital offers a charming, old medina and a French colonial new town.

Tunisia is also famous for its beach resorts, Phoenician and Roman-Byzantine ruins and the white-washed hill town of Sidi Bou Said.
