Thermoplastics in Marsa has celebrated 20 years of operations in Malta. Providing a daily 24-hour service, the firm started operating from Tunisia, with 63 employees working in both countries.

The company manufactures a range of supreme quality plastic products such as toys, car parts, engineering works and carbon fibre products.

A ceremony commemorating the company’s anniversary was attended by Finance Minister Edward Scicluna.

The company’s managerial director Kenneth Caruana said he was satisfied that his company evolved along the years. “Turn obstacles into challenges. Focus on your achievement, be persistent and love your work. I encourage employees to build a strong sense of teamwork and to be loyal to the company they work for,” he said.

Besides the fact that Thermoplastics operates under ISO 9001, it also operates under ISO 14001: 2004. This means that it has always had the environmental well-being at heart.

It adopts environment-friendly measures by preserving the remaining plastic pieces to crush them for investment purposes.
