Jason Micallef recently expressed himself on how he believes Peppi Azzopardi should be treated once the Labour Party takes the reins of power in its hands. This made me remember why I, like so many others, could not vote Labour in 2008. These are the things that made us think twice as people like Mr Micallef were too close to the seat of power.

Thankfully, today the Labour Party has another kind of leader and has managed to do away with the lesser minds. Thankfully, Mr Micallef’s power today is limited to the placement of soap operas on One TV. He should stick to just that.

The Labour Party has another kind of leadership today, a much more thoughtful and visionary one, which has won over the minds of so many. The Labour Party has one leader and that is Joseph Muscat.
