Let The Music Start It is the new single from Maltese pop artist Thea.

The single, accompanied by a music video, was recorded and produced at Tonstudio Lager 1 in Germany, the same studio the young singer recorded her 2010 single I’m Your Fan.

The song is the result of a project given to Thea by producer Marcus Seiler and songwriter Stefan Engel as an 18th birthday gift.

Thea had first met Seiler and Engel last year when, along with five international singers, she attended a music workshop that was also held at Tonstudio.

Work on the new single started around a year ago, with Thea flying over to Germany during Easter holidays to lay down the vocals and shoot the footage for the video, an experience she has described as unforgettable.

Apart from Seiler and Engel, Thea also worked with video director Stefan Dscaak and his camera crew, photographer Christa Karu and stylist Pia Beermann.

The new single, an upbeat tune with an R ’n’ B slant, is the latest addition to Thea’s existing repeortoire. To date she has released several singles, among them Musilicious, On The Dancefloor, It’s His Eyes I See, Say My Name, Set You Free, Caught You Out and Hostage For Love.
