The die has been cast. Now we know that the three rebels are no longer welcomed by the Nationalist Party. The party has finally decided and made it known that it will no longer be held at ransom by these renegades. It will no longer be led by the nose by persons who for their personal ambition and greed have made life unbearable for the government and the party.

Now that we know the fate of these three and their personal agenda, curiosity leads us to ask: What are the reasons that cause former Nationalist ministers, members of Parliament and party officials to continuously lambast their party and government at every opportunity?

What are the reasons that make them go so far as to churn out their criticism on the opposition’s media to the joy of the opposing party, many times forgetting their principles? How is it possible these people can go so far against the party they once formed an active part of? What is the reason behind their antagonism? Can the people be blamed if, in the event of a Labour victory, they expect these dissenters to join Labour in their celebrations?

It is time for these disgruntled persons to make their personal agenda known. It is time to tell us what they expected from the party/government and failed to get. They cannot go on trying to fool all the people all the time. Why it is that now their party/government is always wrong while when they occupied their high posts nothing went wrong? This is a question that everyone is asking. I think it is time for these disgruntled individuals to be honest with the electorate, especially the Nationalists who put their trust in them in the past and to come out with the truth.

Failing that, the people know how to reach their own conclusions.
