In her new memoir, Rejoice … I Will Fear No Evil (Psalm 23), author Fenella Stevensen relives the ebbs and flows of her life through the character called Jessica, giving readers an intimate look at the experiences and lessons that shaped her into the vibrant woman she is today.

She opens up to the reader, exposing the story of the challenges she faced and the life lessons she has learned

Rejoice … I Will Fear No Evil (Psalm 23) is the first of three volumes covering Stevensen’s memories.

The book looks back at the major moments in the author’s life, where she addresses what she calls the turning point – the moment she faced a carving knife poised to kill.

She opens up to the reader, exposing the story of the challenges she faced, the life lessons she has learned and the lifelong dreams she has fulfilled.

Although the book is a personal account of Stevensen’s life, the author aimed to have her story leave a profound, meaningful impact on readers.

“I want them to be able to see that whatever their life is at this point, there is hope for a better future, and healing for the deepest of pains,” she explains.

“I want my readers to know there is always love and hope waiting to embark their ship and change course, yes, through turbulent waters at times, but safely and with victory.

“My voyage was to learn to love myself among other things… to love and be loved in return.”

Born and raised in Stockport, the UK, Stevensen has lived in Malta, Denmark and Holland.

She is a smooth jazz singer, including swing and power ballads. Rejoice … I Will Fear No Evil (Psalm 23) is her debut book.

The author, who has also worked as a missionary in various places around the world, is now based in Malta.

Rejoice … I Will Fear No Evil (Psalm 23) is published by Author House and is available from Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
