My wife and I have just returned from Portugal after a super holiday. At Lisbon airport, I was going to buy a bottle of Gordon’s Gin (1lt) but, instead, decided to wait until we reached Barcelona airport. At both airports the product was selling at €11.50.

As our bags were full, we decided to wait until our return to Malta because we knew they sold it there as well. On arrival, we found the same brand and size of gin but at a special price of €22.

What happened to equality in the EU? Can anybody explain how is this possibly justified?
