I refer to the news item entitled ‘Turnout may work against PN in election’ (April 17) which stated: “Meanwhile, Labour sources said the party was confident of, at least, maintaining the overall 57 per cent majority achieved in the same localities in 2012 – and there was also the hope of making gains...”

May I point out that Labour only obtained 53.5 per cent of the vote in this round and 17-point gap of three years ago dropped tonine points.

Since the Prime Minister seems to be happy with this result and was seen laughing his head off at Marsa, I conclude by telling him that so am I and countless other Nationalist supporters.
