Unlike today’s Labour Party, Mr Mintoff had some sort of vision. It was a ridiculous one, but at least we used to know precisely where he stood. At best I loved the way he spoke against the Church, but at the cost of replacing it with Karl Marx.
Meanwhile the PL like to say that it is thanks to Mr Mintoff that Malta is what it is today, that one can choose between a local wine and a foreign one? They must be joking.
