The aftermath of the European Parliament elections has led many to express their opinions on the Nationalist Party leadership and its future strategy.
Most of the criticism has been targeted at PN leader Simon Busuttil.
However, now is the time to move on. Regrets will get the Nationalist Party nowhere.
The PN must look forward by combining modesty and humility with self-confidence and ambition.
There is a great deal that needs to be done; it takes strong and committed people to rebuild and reinforce the party.
The PN leader must be very aware of the energy, resilience and persistence required to rebuild the party and to re-engage with the people.
Dr Busuttil must be allowed to get on with his five-year plan of transforming the party.
He must stay the course and reinforce party values and principles.
The PN as a whole must move forward, united behind its leader.
