Four young lads, Antoine Farrugia, Robert Muscat, Daniel Cachia and Ismael Bonello, recently launched themselves onto the local scene with a song called My Remedy.

Operating under the name The Madhatters, this young quartet has a lot of ambition, boosted further by the radio airplay their debut single has been receiving. Formed about a year-and-a-half ago, the band originally started out as a one-off school show act but decided to keep going as they clocked up more gigs to their name.

One of the more recent additions to the local pop scene, The Madhatters’ sound, which inclined towards a pop-fuelled mainstream rock blend, should guarantee good feedback.

However, it would be interesting to see them push themselves out of this comfort zone and experiment a little.
