Cutting-edge foot-scanning technology developed to improve services within sports outlets is now available at Eurosport.
The scanning platform Sincro-Scan will record those areas where feet exert pressure, both while standing and in motion.
The scanner then records running movement while wearing different shoes, highlighting the difference between shoe brands. In this way, customers can pick the right footwear based on an accurate assessment.
“Each one of us has their own specific way of carrying their bodies and this posture needs to be supported by the right footwear to prevent additional strain or pressure on the foot,” said Eurosport’s managing director Christina Peresso.
“Many problems are caused by buying the wrong footwear and this is why we always re-commend trying different products before buying sports shoes. With this new technology in our stores, we will be able to offer a better service,” she added.
Meanwhile, athletes who specialise in running are invited to try on the latest sports shoes in the Boost collection by Adidas.
Designed around a revolutionary cushioning technology, shoes in this collection are made of thousands of energy capsules that guarantee a high energy return in the running industry.
The foot scanner is available at Eurosport’s main outlet in Psaila Street, Birkirkara.
