Firstly, I would like to commend the good job that is being done with the aesthetic upgrading of the Qawra bus terminus. Even though, with the increasing parking problem in Qawra especially during the spring and summer seasons, as well as on the weekends all year round, I strongly believe that an underground two or three storey parking lot would have been ideal.

So, on the one hand, you have the Qawra terminus that is now looking great, while on the other hand, and directly adjacent to the terminus, the garden in Triq il-Kurazza has been left in a disappointingly shabby state, even though, occasionally weeds are trimmed and plants are sown.

I am of the opinion that the embellishment of this neglected garden will benefit the residents, all Maltese families and tourists alike.

This can be done by replanting trees, installing shaded wooden benches as well as a few swings for families with children.

Only then will the Qawra bus terminus have the complete finish it very well deserves!
