The film tells the story of the theatre, which has featured the greatest names in the history of music. Together these names made the theatre a legend. These were Giuseppe Verdi, Giacomo Puccini, Arturo Toscanini, Maria Callas, Luchino Visconti and, in more recent years, Claudio Abbado and Riccardo Muti. Evoking the sense of the sacred, the theatre was also home to Daniel Barenboim, Riccardo Chailly, Mirella Frenu, Placido Domingo, Carla Fracci and many more!
