Throughout the month of August, tango aficionados can dance al fresco in Pjazza Reġina (Republic Square), Valletta, every Wednesday evening.

The Malta Argentine Tango Association is organising a weekly milonga (social dance) and everyone is welcome to join in. While there is no age limit, the dance is more suited for adults. Those who do not wish to dance can also stop by to watch.

The association is a non-profit organisation dedicated solely to promoting Argentine tango in Malta. Its registered members have an interest in or regularly dance Argentine tango.

The association regularly hosts a variety of tango events throughout the island and frequently invites prominent international tango maestros to lead workshops locally, for the benefit of the large and ever-growing Maltese tango community.

The milonga is organised in collaboration with Café Cordina and the Valletta Local Council and is held from 8pm to 11pm.
