Game developers, students, academics and those interested in digital games are invited to a lecture by Nick Porsche, an award-winning browser games developer.

Mr Porsche will talk about next generation browser game development today in Lecture Theatre 1 (behind the library) at the University of Malta. The lecture starts at 7.30 p.m. and entrance is free. The event is organised as a part of the “Digital Games Initiative: promoting Digital Games in Malta.”

Mr Porsche is the founder of Rocksolid Games and producer and game director of “Battlestar Galactica Online”, a multi-player online game that won the European Browser Game Award 2011. In his talk, he will discuss his experience with the game and all the secrets behind creating a massively successful browser game.
