Well done to Keith Abela on his joining the Occupy London movement (December 27). He is a fine example for us all.

It is good that his experience in London has helped him to begin to see the greed that exists, even here on this small, lovely island. “… It would make sense to start using what has already been built and maximising its great potential.” Those of us who daily pass the empty shells of apartment blocks and still see the frantic efforts to build even more would heartily agree with this sentiment.

I appreciate those who, like Mr Abela, have the faith, belief and fortitude to take a stand against waste, greed and inequality.
