The Ta’ Xbiex bathing area reserved for the public and ringed off by buoys is much smaller than that of last year. This is to the detriment of the public. Only two step ladders have been installed to assist bathers coming out of the sea. Another one is needed – there is already the anchor points for it – in the middle of the area.

The signage, indicating the reserved bathing area, with the emergency numbers etc, is yet to be installed. So are the rubbish bins.

The area needs cleaning up as well.
