The global phenomenon known simply as TED – a thriving movement propelled by ideas that are transforming the world comes to the big screen at Eden Cinemas at 8pm tomorrow.

TED’s curator Chris Anderson will host the opening night which will feature some of the world’s leading thinkers and doers who have won every international prize of excellence from Nobel Laureates, to Pulitzer Prize authors, to Oscar winners.

“It’s one thing to watch TED.com videos at your desk at work, but it’s a radically different experience to watch a live curated session, seated right in the audience,” Deron Triff, TED’s head of media Partnerships and Format Innovation stated.

This year’s line-up will include Shonda Rhimes writer and producer of the much acclaimed TV shows Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal.

Tickets for the satellite conference are priced at €12. For more information visit www.edecinema.com.mt or phone 2371 0400.
