Gozo Channel passengers will be entertained today by a host of activities in support of fair trade and sustainable tourism.

There will be a fair trade quiz for all onboard the MV Gaudos this afternoon, as well as face painting and a storyboard poster presentation about fair trade chocolate.

This initiative is the brainchild of Core Green eco Foods and Koperattiva Kummerċ Ġust.

“Every time you buy a fair trade product, your purchase will bring in household income and allow farmers in the majority of the world to invest in their villages, schools, livestock and land,” said Natalie Debono, director of Core Green eco Foods.

Activities onboard will take place against a backdrop of live acoustic music provided by Banjo, Amber and Leigh of Irie Flo, who will be playing reggae, ska and funk.
