The Phoenicia Hotel in Floriana is all set for summer, offering fine to casual al fresco dining, entertainment, refreshing drinks and elegant relexation.

Executive chef Saul Halevi is making sure ingredients used at the hotel’s various restaurants are the freshest by using produce from local farmers and from the Phoenicia’s own kitchen garden, which is set on 4,000 square metres.

A new concept is the Sunday Grill, a barbecue buffet featuring 25 different plate choices, including fresh fish, meats and antipasti, pasta and soup, complemented by mouth-watering desserts. Free-flowing wine and live entertainment, provided by guitar duo Tony Polidano and Richard Edwards, add to the diners’ gusto.

The Phoenix Terrace is hosting Italian nights, offering classic Italian drinks such as Aperol, Campari and Bellini, and a live pasta station where one can have one’s pasta cooked to one’s liking. Pianist Edmund Zarb performs an Italian repertoire for patrons.

The hotel is also celebrating Maltese food al fresco to the traditional sounds of Tony Pace.

Friday nights host Malta’s first-ever Wine Buffet at Palm Court Lounge, where patrons can sample a vast array of wines whilenibbling tasty bites and listening to the tunes of singer William Mangion.

On Saturday night, Godwin Lucas plays mellow and romantic classics at the Club Bar where one can have 26 malt Scotch whiskies, various Irish whiskies and other bourbons available.
