Sullivan Maritime, a leading Maltese shipping company, has celebrated 20 years of maritime services by announcing a revamp to their company brand. The aim is to give the globally-reputed company a fresh look, as the younger generation is being coached and groomed to take over the family business.
A new company logo was unveiled to business collaborators and customers during the 20th anniversary celebration held last month. Guests were presented with a glimpse into the new rebranding that will give a fresh and younger look to the company.
Sullivan Maritime CEO and founder Ernest Sullivan announced that his sons, Nigel and Karl, are in the process of gaining the required experience before eventually taking over the leadership of the business. Their aim will be to make Sullivan Maritime smarter and more automated as well as to cater for the industry’s evolving needs.

“Having arrived this far, it is natural that we need to carefully plan the future succession of Sullivan Maritime by presenting and exposing our younger generation,” Mr Sullivan said.
For many decades, the family name of Sullivan has gained a reputation in the shipping sector, using its human resources to achieve client satisfaction.
“The position of Sullivan Maritime today and our positive outlook are a great testimony to the hard work and talent of our staff and business partners.
“Our success and achievements are ultimately down to the loyalty and commitment of all of our clients, and the great working relationships we have with them. Without them, we would simply not have a business,” Mr Sullivan said.
The Sullivans have worked very closely with the prestigious Grimaldi Group based in Naples, with both families enjoying an outstanding business relationship for over 50 years.
It is through this strong collaboration that it was possible to create the various shipping services that today link Malta to Italy and mainland Europe.
Grimaldi Group representative Eugenio Grimaldi, who was present at the celebration, spoke about the growing collaboration between the Italian and Maltese companies.
