With more than 18 billion searches for information every month, rich, searchable content is increasingly driving every thoroughfare of traffic across the internet.

As a result, is it imperative for content companies to stay on top of the trends that dictate how and why text from across the web is found through Google and other search engines.

Held annually in New York, the ASJA Writers’ Conference brings together experts in a variety of fields, aimed at highlighting the latest developments in both print and web content creation. Workshops were held on a plethora of topics, including social media, content marketing and public relations, and were given by representatives of companies like Google and Hearst Magazines.

WriteMeAnything.com founder Jo Caruana attended.

“ASJA provided the perfect opportunity to align WMA with up-to-the-minute trends related to content creation, whether for web, PR or print,” Ms Caruana said afterwards.

“Through various workshops with specialists from across the US, we explored the best ways to ensure the content we create does the most dynamic job possible.”

WMA, a content agency launched in 2006, works with brands in Malta and overseas.
